The Artist

Hi and welcome! I'm Lorraine, a Brazilian-American, multidisciplinary designer based in Washington, DC who works across various mediums, including digital art, painting, printmaking, and illustrations. My passion for art was grew out of childhood (starting with those classic finger paintings) and has evolved ever since. Keeping up with this hobby of mine has blossomed into an integral part of who I am.

With several years of experience in design, I have combined by creative flair with technical expertise, allowing for a curious mind and appetite for the unknown to thrive in both my personal and professional endeavors. My professional work consists of visual storytelling through report layouts and graphic design to video narratives to social media campaigns.

My desire for design is rooted in my love for creating art. Art wears many hats; there's painting, sculpting, printmaking, drawing, sketching—you name it. And design is nestled right in there. It takes you on a journey that is like gears in a machine moving back and forth or even stopping. You go through several ideas, mock-ups, late nights, feelings of dissatisfaction and contemplate, and lastly— the best part—the final product. This process is a thrill and I'm here for it.
